Vicki Nelson, MA, is the founder of College Parent Central, an organization that helps parents partner with their kids during college. She’s also a senior lecturer in communications at Curry College in Massachusetts.
Nelson has more than 40 years of experience in higher education as a college professor, academic advisor, and administrator. She provides a wealth of information on the College Parent Central website and is the co-host of the organization’s podcast. She also plays the flute for the Parkway Concert Orchestra.
Nelson earned a bachelor of arts degree in English language and literature from Juniata College. She also earned a master of arts in theater education and speech at Emerson College and is a member of the Association of Higher Education Parent Programming Professionals.
