Elizabeth Harstad, MD, MPH, is a developmental-behavioral pediatrician who sees patients with learning and attention issues and conducts clinically relevant research on topics related to ADHD and autism. 

With over 15 years of experience working in the Division of Developmental Medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital, Harstad has expertise in diagnosing and managing conditions such as ADHD, learning disorders, autism, developmental delays, and anxiety. Her clinical research focuses on improving the clinical care for children with common neurodevelopmental disorders. She has published over 30 articles in peer-reviewed medical journals and has written several book chapters. 

Harstad graduated from Washington and Lee University and then completed medical school and pediatric residency at Loyola Stritch Medical Center in Illinois. She completed a three-year fellowship in developmental-behavioral pediatrics at Boston Children’s Hospital and simultaneously obtained a master of public health degree at the Harvard School of Public Health.
