Ace Parsi, MPP
Ace Parsi, MPP, served as the personalized learning partnership manager at the National Center for Learning Disabilities (NCLD), Understood’s founding partner, working to ensure that students with disabilities fully benefit from personalized learning initiatives.
Before joining NCLD, Parsi was the deeper learning project director at the National Association of State Boards of Education. He worked nationally with state boards on student assessments, school accountability, graduation requirements and other education issues. He held policy, research, and school-based positions at the Alliance for Excellent Education, the National Service-Learning Partnership, Policy Analysis for California Education, and Fair Oaks Community School in Redwood City, California.
Parsi’s family immigrated to the United States when he was 8 years old. He was an English language learner and received free and reduced-price lunch — experiences leading to his passion for using education policy to create equity for students. Parsi holds a master of public policy degree from the Goldman School of Public Policy at the University of California, Berkeley.
