Keri Wilmot is a pediatric occupational therapist with more than 20 years of experience working in children’s hospitals, a sensory integration clinic, public school systems, an early intervention program, and pediatric home care.
In the public schools, she evaluated children who had been labeled as “failing” in their private preschool or daycare. Drawing from this, she published Wired Differently: A Teacher’s Guide to Understanding Sensory Processing Challenges.
In 2009, she began sharing toy tips on her website, ToyQueen.com. She contributes to the Texas Today show, Common Sense Media, and the Toy Industry Association “The Genius of Play” initiative. She’s also a judge for the Spielwarenmesse Toy Award. Her second book, focused on fine motor skills, is set to be published in 2024.
