Mark Griffin has worked in the field of learning disabilities for over 45 years. He was the founding headmaster of Eagle Hill School, a school for children with specific learning disabilities in Greenwich, Connecticut.

He consults with foundations, parents, and schools on learning disabilities, school management, and programming strategies. He’s a member of the executive committee, board of directors, and professional advisory board of NCLD and a member of the National Joint Committee on Learning Disabilities. He served on the board of directors and executive committee of the Learning Disabilities Association of America. 

He has a BA in psychology from Merrimack College, an MEd in special education and guidance from Worcester State College, an MS in psychology from Assumption College, and a PhD in psychology from Fordham University. He is a founding expert of Understood.
