Sarah Greenberg has been a leader in digital mental health and ed tech for almost a decade and a psychotherapist and leadership coach for more than 15 years.
Before joining Understood, she was director of clinical design at BetterUp. She advised top startups like Headspace and Lemonaid Health. Her early career focused on trauma healing, low-cost mental health support, social justice, and education. Her work has been featured in Fast Company, Business Insider, Forbes, InStyle, and more. She’s the author of the Life’s Work column in Psychology Today.
She holds an MEd in prevention science and practice from Harvard University, an MA in mind-body counseling from California Institute of Integral Studies, and additional degrees in the social sciences from McGill University and the London School of Economics. She’s also a parent and an avid mindfulness practitioner of nearly 20 years.
