Mimi Schweid
Hi! My name is Mimi, and I was diagnosed with dyslexia and a patterning issue.
With the help of some amazing tutors, I learned how to catch up academically. For most of my public school experience, I had two-teacher classrooms, except for English. I loved writing, even if my grammar and spelling weren’t always correct.
Since 2012, I’ve challenged myself to write 50,000 words a month as part of NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month). Writing has helped me get through my struggles and give myself peace of mind. I won’t let dyslexia stop me from doing what I love most: sharing stories with the world.
