Gaby Bobadilla, MA
Writer and Translator
Gaby Bobadilla, MA, started her career as an editor and translator 25 years ago at Scholastic in New York City. Since then, she has worked as an editor, translator, and writer in publishing companies, newspapers and nonprofit organizations. In 2009 the book she edited, Una vida plena, was published in Mexico City. She has also taught a number of university and high school courses.
Bobadilla is the mom of a college child who learns and thinks differently. Bobadilla lives in Queens, New York.
Bobadilla has a BA in philosophy from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), Mexico City, a BA in photography from Escuela Activa de Fotografía, Mexico City, and a master’s degree in art history from UNAM, Mexico City. She is working toward a Teaching Bilingual Learners with Disabilities Certificate at Lasell College.
