Chloe Gaynor
Chloe Gaynor is a student at Emory University in Atlanta. She is majoring in political science with a concentration in American government and politics.
Gaynor was diagnosed with ADHD and learning disabilities in the third grade, and she struggled especially with reading and writing. Because of her experiences, she’s always looked for ways to help provide support for other students who struggle. During high school, she volunteered at the Community Learning Center, tutoring students who were behind grade level in reading and writing. Now she volunteers with Emory Reads, assisting in local classrooms.
Gaynor spent the summer of 2018 interning for the National Center for Learning Disabilities, Understood’s founding partner. She hopes to continue doing advocacy work in the future.
