Chelsea Roldan, MS, CCC-SLP, is the senior manager of the expert network on the Expertise and Strategic Design team at Understood. She is a licensed speech-language pathologist with years of experience with early intervention to middle school–age students. Having provided speech, language, and assistive technology evaluations, she specializes in parent and family education and training for students with complex communication needs.

Roldan has been certified by the International Association of Accessibility Professionals as a Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC). She is passionate about creating accessible digital products and reducing barriers that limit engagement for all students. Within her daily practice, Roldan creates inclusive learning environments through the use of assistive technology.

She holds a bachelor of arts degree in health sciences, communication sciences, and disorders from the University of Central Florida, and a master of science degree in speech-language pathology from Jacksonville University.
