Barbara Hubert, MSEd, is a special education coordinator and teacher in Brooklyn, New York, where she works with teachers and students to develop inclusive academic and social-emotional supports. She is also an adjunct instructor at Hunter College, where she teaches graduate students how to create supportive, accessible, and inclusive classrooms.
Hubert holds a master’s degree in special education and teaching from Long Island University, Brooklyn, and is pursuing a doctorate in the Urban Education program at the CUNY Graduate Center, where her research focuses on perceptions of learning differences.
