Shadi Abdalla
Hello! My name is Shadi Abdalla. I was only diagnosed with ADHD a few years ago.
Before that, I always wondered why I struggled so much in school. I finally googled my struggles and came across articles that talked about ADHD.
With that knowledge, I visited a psychiatrist and was diagnosed with ADHD. Ever since, I’ve been able to take hold of my life. I can work my way around my differences to reach my full potential.
Since my diagnosis and the recognition of my differences, I’ve started a nonprofit tutoring company, become a member of my city’s advisory board, and been accepted into and started college at Carnegie Mellon University, one of the top universities in the world. I study pre-med and plan on minoring in psychology.
