Roy Boorady, MD

Roy Boorady, MD, is a child and adolescent psychiatrist at the Child Mind Institute in New York City, where he is senior director of the nonprofit’s psychopharmacology service. Prior to joining the Child Mind Institute, Boorady served for eight years as the clinical director of the NYU Child Study Center’s psychopharmacology service. He was an assistant professor at the NYU School of Medicine and Weill Medical College of Cornell University and was also an instructor in psychiatry at Harvard Medical School.
Boorady earned his medical degree from the University at Buffalo School of Medicine. He continued his training as chief resident in general adult psychiatry at Massachusetts Mental Health Center and completed a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital. A member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, he is a Diplomate of the National Board of Medicine, the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and the American Board of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
